The Recruitment Officer is responsible for attracting, sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to meet the organization’s staffing needs. The role ensures a smooth and efficient recruitment process, aligned with company policies, culture, and workforce planning strategies.
1. Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
*Identify staffing needs and create job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers.
*Source candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, referrals, recruitment agencies, etc.).
*Maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs.
2. Recruitment & Selection
*Post job advertisements internally and externally.
*Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
*Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
*Administer recruitment assessments/tests where required.
*Coordinate with hiring managers on candidate evaluations and selection.
3. Onboarding & Documentation
*Prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding packages.
*Ensure pre-employment checks (references, background verification, etc.) are completed.
*Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction for new hires.
4. Recruitment Strategy & Compliance
*Support workforce planning and recruitment strategies to meet organizational goals.
*Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
*Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports for HR metrics.
5. Employer Branding & Networking
*Promote the organization’s employer brand to attract top talent.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, job centers, and professional networks.
*Represent the company at career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities.
